Mabuhay!

As we approach the remarkable occasion of our society’s 65th anniversary next year, I am filled with profound gratitude and honor to serve as your President. This significant milestone is a testament to the enduring legacy of excellence and dedication that each of you has contributed to our field.

The *”PSG: Road to 65″* is a celebration of our rich history that brought PSG to where it stands today. PSG shines as a beacon of excellence, committed to advancing the science, practice, and education of Gastroenterology in the Philippines. Our collective efforts have propelled our society to the forefront of gastroenterology, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standards of treatment and care.

Over the past six decades, we have navigated challenges, achieved significant milestones, and built invaluable connections within our community.

Looking ahead, we must continue building on the robust foundation laid by our predecessors. This will be passed on to the next generation of PSG members as we give dedicated efforts to developing competent gastroenterologists, upgrading their knowledge, and enhancing their skills to adapt to changing times and situations.

Together, let us embrace innovation, nurture collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and professionalism.

In the spirit of our anniversary, I urge each of you to actively engage in the PSG’s initiatives and activities. Whether through educational programs, research endeavors, or advocacy efforts, your involvement is the heartbeat of PSG’s vibrant future. As we commemorate the *”PSG: Road to 65″*, let us renew our commitment to excellence, compassion, and integrity that define our work and make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our fellow Filipinos.

On behalf of the PSG Board, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your dedication, passion, and unwavering support. It is indeed a true honor to serve you and I am inspired to lead our society into this celebratory year towards our 65th anniversary.
