The Philippine Journal of Gastroenterology, the official publication of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy aims to

1. Provide a medium for the dissemination and permanent recording of the results of scientific medical research and clinical experience in gastroenterology in the Philippines;

2. Provide a medium for the dissemination of general information and proceedings of medical conferences conducted by the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology and the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy.
